Our Story

Five plus years ago the sun shined just a little brighter when two gorgeous rescue peruvian guinea pig girls were adopted. These two special girls brought sunshine to our everyday, hence the name was born "Sunshine Cavies". 

As we became aquainted together, the girls brought me such joy hearing their cheerful wheeks, watching them play during floor time became a centerpiece of my day. 




Even though they weren't the typical "popcorn" piggies, it was interesting to watch their individual characters emerge. Sisters but so different, Alice my Diva Girl always ready to strike a pose! Squeaky was the shy one, but never to shy to let her voice be known, behold her name! She would wheek her squeaks all day long for her cuddles and Veggies!  

They quickly became important members of our small companion family!
